Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs Minister Anisul Huq has said the investigation agency of International Crimes Tribunal (ICT) will scrutinize the list ofc  that the government published today and would decide on taking actions based on the gravity of their crimes.

“They would decide whom to take action against, whom to brought under justice under ICT after conducting their probe. If they find evidence against anyone, he would certainly be brought to justice,” the minister said, talking to newsmen after coming out of his meeting with Nepalese Deputy Prime Minister Upendra Yadav and joint secretary Gautam Phanindra at his office on Sunday, reports BSS.

Earlier today, the Liberation War Ministry published a list of 10,789 Razakars who collaborated with their Pakistani masters during the War of Liberation in 1971.

When asked for his reaction on the publication of the list, Anisul said getting everything clear in history is good for everyone.

“The young generation should learn the true history of the country. We have passed such a time in the past when we had to feel hesitant to talk about how we became independent and about Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, who brought our liberation. This list of Razakars and the true history of our Liberation War would help the new generation make a beautiful, strong and developed Bangladesh,” he added.
